Our Top 5 Favorite Lip Balms

I love lip balms!  I use them multiple times a day and I have tried soooo many different kinds.  It is nice to have options, but with all the different types…moisturizing, protecting, smoothing, plumping, shaded…I could go on and on…it is hard to know where to begin.  I thought I would let you know my current fave along with some of the other ladies’ picks here at North Phoenix Moms Blog.

Personally, I look for two things in my lip balm, moisturization and sun protection. I can always add something on top for color or shine.  This is why I love ChapStick Dual-Ended Hydration Lock Day and Night.  It is dual-sided for a two-in-one approach.  On one end, it has an SPF formula for during the day to protect lips, and on the other end, there is a soothing and hydration-replenishing tamanu oil and mango butter balm to wear at night.  I love the way this balm feels on my lips and I like the dual-effect all in one tube.

A popular lip balm here at the blog is EOS Visibly Soft Lip Balm.  Emily says it feels great and isn’t sticky.  Her 5-year-old son loves it too! He calls it his lipstick and I am sure she will tease him about that when he is older! 😉

Rachel loves Burt’s Bees Beeswax Lip Balm which is all natural formula.

Eileen uses Supergoop! Fusion Lip Balm because it has sunscreen.  So important to protect our lips along with the rest of our bodies from sun damage!

Stacey likes SanRe Organic Skinfood Sweet Lips Soothing Lip Balm. This is a great option for those with sensitive lips or skin around their lips.
