My Aunt Thelma was the world’s best baker. Seriously. My cousins and I would go over to her little condo each year and play with her dogs while she mixed the dough for the greatest cookies you’ve ever tasted. Getting to go to Aunt Thelma’s to bake cookies for our family was one of my happiest memories as a kid during Christmas time. There was a lot that made baking cookies at my aunt’s house so special. It was nearly perfect each year! The cookies, the laughter, the mess … it was all what made spending time together even more memorable.
Since I had some of my favorite childhood memories during Christmas happen in the kitchen, I would love for others to experience this happiness as well! Here are some awesome recipes for you to create in your own kitchens.
