It’s almost here! Mother’s Day is our annual culmination of sleep deprivation, self-sacrifice and a whole lotta love. And really, what better way to celebrate us, and the super bowl of motherhood, than a Sunday brunch? Well, maybe brunch AND a well-deserved nap! We’re excited to share our 2018 list of the best restaurants for Mother’s Day brunch in Phoenix!  They’re serving up everything from traditional breakfast offerings to unique and eclectic dishes. 

The Scottsdale Plaza Resort – Top kid pick!

The only thing better than a delicious brunch is a delicious brunch with kids crafts and movies to entertain your tots. The Scottsdale Plaza Resort puts on quite the display, complete with a carving and omelet station, all while keeping the kids top of mind. The pint-sized children’s buffet is a huge hit and after all that nosh, you can take family pics with your choice of backdrops!

Paul Martin’s American Grill

A central spot for casual elegance, Paul Martin’s is celebrating mom with freshly baked white cheddar biscuits, complimentary coffee, a brunch entrée – plus a handcrafted cocktail or juice. You can also order off the full brunch menu.

Ocotillo – Top kid pick!

This is a solid pick for amazing Southwest fare!  Their menu includes healthy, vegan and gluten-free options. Plus, kids can enjoy the open air space when they start to get antsy. It’s a great place for large groups, too!

This spot packs the healthy, vegan and gluten-free options like no where else, but it’s their drink line-up that will shine this Mother’s Day. True Food is introducing a mom-osa menu alongside their regular brunch selections featuring a choice of three mimosas and one natural refresher, specially crafted to celebrate moms on their big day.

The Farm at South Mountain – Top kid pick!

Consistently rated one of the best places for brunch, this South Phoenix gem will not disappoint! The outdoor seating make it a stunning backdrop for mama and the perfect post-meal playground for the kids. Not to mention some delish breakfast and lunch treats from a mom-elet station to pecan French toast and braised beef short ribs to coconut cupcakes. Since this spot is in such high demand, you can expect to shell out the full cost of the meal in advance. Cancellations after 5 pm on Wednesday, May 10 will not be refunded.

T Cook’s

As valley icon for more than two decades, T. Cook’s located inside the Royal Palms Resort and Spa, might just be a little slice of Mother’s Day heaven. Set at the foot of Camelback mountain, the Tuscan scenery is a perfect complement to Chef Todd’s exquisite cuisine. Mother’s Day brunch includes chilled starter buffet, choice of entrée and dessert buffet.

This spot is for the sushi-loving mama with enough Japanese and steakhouse selections to keep those who are fish-free happy as well. A three-course prix fixe menu is available including a choice from five starters and entrees and three desserts.

Nestled in Cave Creek, the views alone make this place worth the trek. They offer a three-course Mother’s Day special or the option to order off the regular menu so you’ll definitely be able to please the whole family. What’s cool for kids? Treat mom to a decadent Mother’s Day brunch nearly 1,800 feet above the city at this beautiful mountaintop restaurant.  Served buffet-style, signature carving boards will feature slow-roasted aged prime rib of beef and roasted lamb and a variety of savory entrees and sides including lobster bisque, duck parmesan ravioli, smoked and poached wild salmon and port-braised short ribs. Chilled displays and seafood bar will include shrimp and snow crab claws, marinated Penn Cove mussels, imported cheeses and charcuterie, and more. Traditional breakfast favorites will also be offered, including vanilla-scented waffles and a chef’s frittata station, as well as a variety of house made pastries for dessert.

Toast mom during Mother’s Day brunch at the family-friendly uptown Phoenix resort restaurant. Served buffet-style, families can feast on made-to-order omelets and savory entrees from the oven including herb chicken breast, Barramundi and oven roasted tomatoes, and roasted corn five-cheese tortellini served with arugula and peppers. Chilled salads and displays will include Rico’s Garden of Eden salad, roasted baby vegetables, local greens, quinoa, seasonal fruits and berries, yogurt parfaits and bakery favorites. Danielle and her husband met at Arizona State University and have been living in North Phoenix since 2010.
