A List of the Best Coffee Shops in Phoenix

1

As parents we know one thing in life is for sure – coffee is essential to living. Now, I’m not a coffee snob, but I do love to go out and grab a cup with friends, or, by myself! In the winter, the warmth of the cup in my hands and the cozy feeling it brings is almost heavenly. In the summer, having the perfect cup of ice cold brew to ease the torture of the heat here in Arizona is attitude changing. So we’ve come to your rescue! Our writers have come up with a guide of their favorite local coffee shops and I’m eager to share it with you! You’re welcome.

Copper Star

4220 N 7th Ave
Phoenix, Arizona

This is my favorite coffee shop and it’s walking distance from my home. Cubano, Lavender Mocha, Lavender Lemonade, Thai Tea….you can’t go wrong. They have a small menu of breakfast and lunch options as well as pastries.

Lux

4400 N Central Ave
Phoenix, AZ 85012

This place is well-known and well-loved in the central corridor of Phoenix. Serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and pastries. Lux also sells wine, beer, and cocktail, and is open until midnight.

Lola

1001 N 3rd Ave
Phoenix, AZ

Serves coffee, tea, breakfast, and brunch. You can fill out a checklist at the register to make a custom sandwich, omelet, or burrito!

The Teapot

818 N 5th Ave
Phoenix, AZ

If you haven’t been here you must try it out. Coffee, tea, delectable pastries, and a small menu are just part of the charm you find here. Walk through to the backyard and you find a beautifully planned area for your kids to play… which means you can relax!

32 Shea

10626 N 32nd St
Phoenix, AZ

Not only does this place serve delicious coffee but they also serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. PLUS they have 1/2 price bottles of wine on Mondays, $20 bruschetta & bottle, and a 12-hour happy hour. The lavender latte was recommended by one of our contributors!

Elevate

2530 W Happy Valley Rd Ste #1273
Phoenix, AZ

The drink menu is long and enticing, their Nutella crepes are delicious, and 10 cents from every featured drink served at Elevate provides safe water for children in Africa.

Echo Coffee

2902 N 68th St #135
Scottsdale, AZ

If you want fresh, organic, and local products – this is your place. Coffee, tea, pastries, and a light menu combined with an eclectic interior makes this a unique atmosphere.

Sip Coffee and Beer House

3620 E Indian School Rd
Phoenix, AZ 85018

3617 N Goldwater Blvd
Scottsdale, AZ 85251

Coffee, beer, cocktails, food, and music. This is an all-in-one location for a morning sip, a midday brunch, or a late night outing.  It may not be “just” a coffee shop but it definitely fits the bill and offers a little more to suit everyone’s taste.

Cartel

Various locations throughout the valley

Known for their local roasting and cold brew, this place is a must-visit. You’ll find light bites with some locations offering up more of a small breakfast menu. This is a place that won’t disappoint.

  1. My top favorites made the list! I also like Luci’s at the Orchard because there is a mini splash pad there for the LO’s. Although it’s not just a coffee shop 😉
