I know my little family and I are always looking for some fun things to do (FREE is even better) when Friday rolls around. So I thought I’d share some fun events going on in the valley you may want to schedule into your busy, weekend plans!
1) DISNEY ON ICE! 100 Years of Magic
Oh I WISH we were going to this. But just because I’m not, doesn’t mean YOU can’t! 😉 Tickets are still on sale for Saturday’s 12:00pm show. Visit (www.ticketmaster.com) to snatch up your tickets before they’re all gone!
2) Free Easter Bunny Photos @ Westgate
Details: 11:00-9:00pm this weekend
Free, downloadable photo and gift! One of only two locations offering free photos in the valley! (Gotta love FREE!)
3) 2014 Tempe Play Day
Join in on the fun with your family with a FREE day of play for kids of all ages! Activities will include youth sports activities, dance & movement, inflatable bounce houses, and family-friendly obstacles!
Tempe is known for being a city that “plays”! Isn’t that cool?! They have been nominated for five years now as one of the best “play” cities in the U.S. Pretty awesome!
4) Macaroni Kid Spring Festival @ The Shops at Norterra
One of the biggest Easter celebrations in the North Valley!
Free activities include: bounce houses, face painting, photos with the Easter bunny, music, and contests with Radio Disney! Also, more than 30 specialty craft vendors will be there and each retailer will be welcoming attendees with sweets and indoor specials. I’d say that’s a lot of fun for everyone! Count me in 😉
