As if our Arizona sunsets aren’t enough???…below is a list of fab fireworks options to celebrate Independence Day! Which event(s) are your favorite? Do you traditionally attend one specific fireworks display?

AHWATUKEE

Red, White and Boom a FREE family event located at the Ahwatukee Country Club, 12432 South 48th Street, Phoenix on July 3 from 3-10 p.m. This year, festival goers can look forward to the bright lights of patriotism in an environment overflowing with family friendly activities, entertainment, food, beer, wine and local vendors showcasing their products.

ANTHEM

Independence Day Celebration Thousands of people Valley-wide come together to celebrate the annual Anthem Independence Day Celebration. Along with the traditional fireworks display, fun rides, activities and festival food, families bring blankets and lawn chairs and sit back to enjoy the spectacular event. Puchase an “All-you-can-ride/bounce Bracelet” in advance at the ACC Community Center during the month of June at a discounted rate of $12 each. Bracelets will be $15 the night of the event. Bracelets are non-refundable and non-transferable whether purchased in advance or the night of the event.

APACHE JUNCTION

Hometown Fireworks Celebration All festivities take place on Saturday, July 4th, 2015. We will be kicking off the day filled events at Superstition Shadows Aquatics Center.  Evening events begin at 6pm and are located at the Apache Junction High School Track and Field. The fireworks show is presented by Republic Services. Parking is limited so please come early. There will be traffic restrictions. Please plan for 20-30 minutes delays.

BUCKEYE

4th of July Celebration at Youngker HS, Town of Buckeye in conjunction with the Main Street Coalition, food, music, family fun games and activities, 6-9:30 pm, fireworks show begins at 9 pm, free

CAVE CREEK

3rd Of July Celebration at Harrold’s Celebrate Independence Day Cave Creek-style! The Town’s spectacular “3rd of July Fireworks Extravaganza” takes place at sunset on Thursday behind Harold’s Corral, 6895 E. Cave Creek Rd. in Cave Creek. The festive, family-friendly celebration starts at 5 p.m. with live music, kid’s activities, food and drink specials and more. A free shuttle service will be available to transport people around town from 6 p.m. to midnight. Admission is free with open seating, first come first serve. Reserved seats are available for $10 for a two-top, $15 for a four-top and $30 for a 10-top.

CHANDLER

4th of July Spectacular A good old fashion family friendly fireworks show.  Pack your bags, bring your blankets and chair, and don’t forget the sunscreen.  Enjoy the award winning park and all it has to offer – Playtopia, sand volleyball, horseshoes, and our newest addition corn hole or bring the fun from home – kites, Frisbees, sports balls, bikes, bubbles, jump ropes and so much more.  Food and non-alcohol beverages will be available for purchase throughout the evening.  After all the family made fun, sit back, relax, and watch the 20-25 minute fireworks show presented by the City of Chandler.

FOUNTAIN HILLS

4th at the Fountain Live entertainment, a live parachuting demonstration, bounce houses, a water slide and a 25 foot tall rock climbing wall for kids.  Bring cash for the beer garden, food and beverages. Fireworks are scheduled to begin at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, July 4, 2015 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m at the Fountain Park in Fountain Hills.

GILA RIVER

Red, White and Rawhide An event full of great and diverse music, at a super affordable price that’s easy on every family’s pocket book. And don’t forget one of the best Firework shows in the Valley! This 4th of July celebration is sure to be a Fun filled event of Great Music, Tasty Food, Fantastic Fireworks, Attractions and a Party so BIG it could only be done at Rawhide! Gates open at 4 pm and the fun goes all the way to 11:00pm. All of this brought to you in part by Mega 104.3, KMLE 107.9 and Metro PCS.

GILBERT

Fire in the Sky Grab your chairs, blankets, friends and family, and help us make this a booming success. Vendors at Central Christian will be selling hot dogs, hamburgers, nachos, pretzels, watermelon, cotton candy, snow cones, water and fresh squeezed lemonade. We will be lighting up the sky with fireworks and collecting non-perishable food items to conquer hunger. Hope to see you there! GLENDALE

Westgate Fireworks Fest Bring your blankets or lawn chairs and relax in Fountain Park and WaterDance Plaza at Westgate Entertainment District to celebrate the 4th with two music stages, fun activities and great eats from more than 20 restaurants starting at 5pm! Westgate Firework Fest is free and family-friendly. Ample, convenient and free parking is available at all parking lots surrounding Westgate Entertainment District.

Art of Noize: Independence Day Car Show and Fireworks AoN is once again throwing our car and fireworks show. The closest you can get to see fireworks this Independence Day while taking in the beautiful rides on display.

 

MARICOPA

Great American 4th Celebration will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. July 4 at Copper Sky Regional Park. This will be the first year the event, formerly called Great American Barbeque, will be held at the new Copper Sky complex located on 45345 W. Martin Luther King Blvd. The event has previously been held at Pacana Park.

MESA

Republic Services Arizona Celebration of Freedom is Saturday, July 4 from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. For the second consecutive year, this free event and the “coolest” independence festival in Arizona will be held at the Mesa Convention Center and Mesa Amphitheatre, 263 N. Center St., and along Center Street between Second Street and University Drive.

Salt River Tubing Bag it for Bucks Celebrate July Fourth weekend at Salt River Tubing’s “Bag it for Bucks,” the award-winning Take Pride in America event on the Lower Salt River in Tonto National Forest. Salt River Tubing will be offering $7 tube rental discount coupons as a token of appreciation for tubers’ conservation efforts while stashing and bagging their picnic trash in litter bags. Tubers will trade in full litter bags at the end of their floating adventure for a $7 discount on their next visit to Salt River Tubing. The coupon is valid seven days a week until August 28th. PEORIA

All-American Festival Enjoy an evening full of entertainment, “exploding” fun and the most colorful fireworks in the skies, including family-friendly activities such as a Water Zone, a Kids Zone, food eating contests, a cornhole tournament, bounce houses and concessions. In addition, there will be two entertainment stages with live performances. Fireworks begin at approximately 9:15 pm (weather permitting).

Fourth of July Wet ‘n’ Wild Hike and Splash Please bring water, sunscreen, a snack, and wear water shoes that will stay on your feet (no flip flops). Old sneakers that you do not mind getting wet and muddy are OK too. This program is a fun family hike and swim, which is very well attended in the summer months. Here is what to expect: we first fit everyone for a life vest (loaner PFDs are available at the trailhead or you may bring your own). Then we hike down to the water, put on our life vest, and enjoy a hike in the water to cool us down. Once we are all wet and happy, we will hike back up to the parking lot and be dry by the time we get there. Once everyone is back up the trail in the parking lot, the ranger will pass out tickets, one per family, for a chance to win one four pack of Wet ‘n” Wild Water Park tickets ($160 value), so don’t miss this Hike & Splash! The hike is about 1/2 mile each way and the program last about two hours.

Salute from the Shores On the southeastern shores of Lake Pleasant, conveniently adjacent to the Phoenix Metro area, Pleasant Harbor RV Resort and Marina, open to the public 365 days a year, will host food vendors, free activities for the kids, including water slides, bounce houses, and Euro trampoline bungee, as well as live music featuring Mogollon, all leading up to the main attraction: a dramatic lakeside fireworks show.  Festivities begin 5 p.m. with fireworks 9 p.m. with activities running until 11 p.m.

PHOENIX

$4 for the Fourth Join Pueblo Grande Museum in celebrating Independence Day with the $4 for the Fourth admission promotion! For the Fourth of July holiday week, Pueblo Grande Museum is offering a discounted museum admission rate of $4 to all adults and seniors. As a Local First Arizona member, this promotion also coincides with celebrating National Independents Week, in its 12th year of encouraging people to “go local” by supporting as many locally owned businesses as possible. Bring the whole family out for a fun and affordable Arizona experience.

Fabulous Phoenix Fourth The 30th annual Fabulous Phoenix 4th will feature one of the largest fireworks displays in the Southwest. The free and non-alcoholic family event annually attracts 100,000-plus participants. Included in this year’s event will be two stages featuring local entertainers, a variety of vendors offering festival-style food and beverage, arts and crafts, interactive exhibits and a classic car display. Youth activites, rides and inflatables, and a water spray zone will be part of Kids World. Fabulous Phoenix 4th is a rain or shine event. In the event of severe weather, stage and other activities will be delayed until weather clears. Saturday, July 4, 2015, 6 to 10 p.m. (rain or shine) (fireworks at approximately 9:30 p.m.), Steele Indian School Park (located at 3rd St. and Indian School Rd.)

Fireworks Family Night Get ready for one of the greatest firework show in all of Phoenix. The night will start with a popular family movie on a giant LED screen, and then we’ll head outside for bounce houses, games, live music, and food available for purchase. This will be a great night for the entire family. Bring your loved ones and join us in celebration of our great nation.

Light Up The Sky An annual favorite at Maryvale Baseball Park, this event will feature inflatables for the kids, community organization tables, games and activities on the field and much more. The highlight of the program is the outstanding display of fireworks that concludes the event.  Please note, only unopened water bottles will be allowed inside of the stadium.

Made in America Rooftop Pool Party LUSTRE Rooftop Garden, a Kimpton Restaurant Saturday, July 4th:* $10 tickets for non-hotel guests. “Most Patriotic Made in American Costume Contest’ at 4pm- with prizes and giveaways!Live Music from Sarah Masterson 11am-2pm.   DJ from 2pm – 6pm. QUEEN CREEK

Schnepf Farms 4th of July 5:00-8:45 All Amusement Rides and water slides will be open.  Hayrides are free and will act as a shuttle to & from  ride area. You must have a wristband to ride the train. The train ride will also make a stop at the  amusement ride area. Amusement Rides include:  Roller coaster, swingin Lady Bugz, honeybee adventure, Flying farmers, petting zoo, Giant water slide, Rock Climbing Wall, Train rides,  Jumping pillows. SCOTTSDALE

Scottsdale 4th Of July At Westworld Live music, more than a dozen interactive children games, a BMX/skateboard stunt show, an ice cream village and other fun activities will fill the air-conditioned North Hall of WestWorld’s Tony Nelssen Equestrian Center. The indoor activities begin at 2 p.m. in the recently expanded center located at 16601 N. Pima Road. At 9 p.m., everyone’s invited to step outside to enjoy a patriotic fireworks show with the scenic McDowell Mountains as a backdrop.

TEMPE

Tempe 64th Annual Fireworks Spectacular will present the best fireworks show in the Valley shot from Mill Avenue Bridge. The fireworks spectacular will be launched from the Mill Avenue Bridge and choreographed to music for all tastes and interests including patriotic, pop, country, and more.

TOLLESON

4th of July Celebration The City of Tolleson will be hosting its 4th of July Celebration at Veterans Park. The evening will be filled with family, friendly musical entertainment by the Rock Lobster Band.

SALT RIVER

Salt River Fields Independence Day Music Festival and patriotic fireworks.  Headliner is none other than Wilco, with Dr. Dog.  Music begins at 5:30pm with Arizona favorite, Banana Gun; doors open at 5pm.

Butterfly Wonderland boasts that it is “America’s Largest Butterfly Atrium,” home to thousands of butterflies. It will be a festive and patriotic weekend at the attraction — the butterflies might even be red, white and blue!

SURPRISE

Annual 4th of July Celebration Come celebrate & watch a Rookie League baseball game & enjoy Fireworks in the Surprise Stadium! Saturday, July 4 2015, Summer Rookie League Game, KC v.
