Melt is a new comer to the scene and already quite popular in the downtown area and I know why, do you? They make their ice cream fresh and yes, that makes it local too! Throughout the year they produce over 200 flavors with the help of Udder delights in Gilbert and Karen’s Kreamery over on the west side of town. If you follow them on Instagram, like I do, then you get to see all the flavors their mixing up and when you do, you’ll definitely want to head down there.

I want to go on and on but we would be here for a long time. You don’t have to worry about not having enough choices if you don’t do dairy. I don’t do dairy…for now, as you may already know (the joys of nursing, am I right) but I had five different flavors to choose from. I picked the coconut lime sorbet shown in the pictures and it was a flavor explosion in my mouth. If you happen to head down that way, I strongly suggest you do because it’s hot out and what else would you want to eat but ice cream? Just note that there is no room to eat inside, so you’ll want to get this goodness to go or eat it in your car like we did.
