Foodie Friday: Noble Bread

North Phoenix Moms Blog - Foodie Friday: Noble Bread“Good bread is the most fundamentally satisfying of all foods” -James Beard

I usually stray away from eating too much bread but during pregnancy I’ll give myself a pass, especially when it’s come to fresh loaf of Noble Bread.  You’ll love this bread anyway you eat it, here are a few of my favorite ways:  Tear off a huge piece of loaf and it eat plain, dab it in some oil and balsamic, slather it with butter or grill it up into a sandwich.  They bake each bread dark to create that strong contrast between a crisp crust and a tender crumb.

Don’t know Noble, head to the market this weekend and pick up a loaf or maybe two.

A few fun facts to know before you try:

  • They are a local bread making company.
  • It takes 36 hours to make one loaf (that’s some love right there).
  • They use only organic GMO free flours, water, sea salt and organic levain starter.
  • They only bake three breads a week (my favorite is the country loaf).

North Phoenix Moms Blog - Foodie Friday: Noble BreadYou can find Noble bread at farmer’s markets, I go to the one down the street Uptown Market, SE Corner of Central and Bethany Home Rd.  Noble bread makes a showing there on Saturday and Wednesday.  If you’re in the mood for a mid-day meal they have recently opened up the Noble Eatery.  A fabulous space to get your Noble craving taken care of with a sandwich, soup, salad, special bites of the day or a sweet treat.

I will tell you that once you try their bread, you may never be able look at another loaf of bread the same way again.  I have Noble Bread in my fridge at all times, how can I go back to anything else, it just doesn’t taste the same anymore.  Enjoy foodies!  Until next time xoxo.
