It’s here! The time we’ve all been waiting for! We endure the hot summers and sporadic winters for SPRING! Below you’ll find spring events in Phoenix for everyone and everything! From date nights, to family events, to girl time … we’ve got you covered.  We also have a section for Easter specific events!

Family Events

Arizona Renaissance Festival and Artisan Marketplace – Saturdays and Sundays Feb. 10th-April 1st
US-60, Apache Junction, Arizona 85119
$26 for adults and $16 for children ages 5-12.

City Lights Movie Nights – March 9th (and every second Friday of the month)
*FREE* 5:30p.m.-9:00p.m. CityScape Phoenix 1 E. Washington St. Phoenix, AZ 85003
Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy a movie night outside! Local vendors and food available for purchase.

Ostrich Festival – March 9-11th
Tumbleweed Park, 2250 S. McQueen Road, Chandler
Live entertainment, carnival rides, food and petting zoo! $15 for ages 12 years and older; $8 ages 5-12; free for ages 4 and younger.

Bug Fest! – March 11th
*FREE*
 10:00a.m.-3:00p.m. in the Courtyard at OdySea in the Desert
All ages are able to attend and no admission is required! Hands on activities, crafts and snacks with bugs of all variety! 

ASU S.T.E.M. Saturday  – March 31st
*FREE* 8:30a.m.- Noon
Tour the Fulton Engineering Lab spaces, use some of their equipment and participate in design challenges. Advanced registration is REQUIRED so click the link to register now!

Paddlefest – April 7th
Lake Pleasant 41835 N. Castle Hot Spring Road Morristown, AZ 85342 
Try a kayak, canoe or paddle board! Great for all ages! The only fee is the park entrance fee! Some life jackets will be available but they recommend bringing one if you have it. Also, wear clothes that can get wet and wear sunscreen!

Scottsdale Culinary Festival – April 14th-1th
12:00p.m.- 6:00p.m. Scottsdale Civic Center Mall 7380 E. 2nd St. Scottsale, AZ 
Tickets range from $10-$150, children 12 years and younger are free. Local restaurants, teen cooking challenge, family area and mom garden–I mean wine garden.

Día del Niño – April 27th
9:00a.m.-4:00p.m. at the Phoenix Zoo
Included with your zoo admission, there are plenty of kids’ activities, crafts and games with fun Latin Flare!

Parents’ Night Out – Every 3rd Saturday of the Month (Mar. 17, Apr. 21, May 19)
5:30-9:30p.m. Whipple’s Fun Center  1510 E. Bell Road #300, Phoenix, AZ, 85022
Ditch the kids and go have a date! Children’s dinner is included in the price! $25/child, $15 for each additional child in the same family. Ages 4 – 13 years old (children must be potty trained)

Dress as your favorite comic or super hero and enjoy a comic-inspired cocktail. $12 admission or free admission for members! 

Sunset and Full Moon Scenic Hike – April 29th
7:00p.m.-9:00p.m. Lake Pleasant Access Road to Southpark Road, to Discovery Center, Peoria, AZ 85383
Meet in front of the Discovery Center, the hike is just under 2 miles and an easy route! Watch the moon rise over the water for a romantic evening!

Time with the Girls

Yoga in the Rainforest – March 20th + 22nd
5:30p.m. Butterfly Wonderland 9500 E. Via de Ventura Scottsdale, AZ 85256
$20 per person, ages 18 and older. Enjoy an hour-long yoga class surrounded by rainforest plants and butterflies!

Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market – April 27th-29th

North Phoenix Bloom: An Event for New an Expecting Moms – May 6th

An incredible night for new and expecting moms to mingle with one another and win a ton of free stuff! You won’t want to miss this! Babies under a year that can be worn are welcome!

Easter Events

Pictures with the Easter Bunny – March 17th-31st

Easter Egg Hunt 42nd Dolly Sanchez Memorial – March 31st
8:00a.m.- Noon Peoria Sports Complex, 16101 N. 83rd Ave.
Inflatables, rides and crafts! There are staggered times for different age groups for the egg hunts. Admission and parking are free when you bring in a canned food donation! Some of the activities may have a fee and food will be available for purchase. 

Easter Egg-Citement – March 31st
8:30a.m.-4:00p.m. Schnepf Farms 24610 South Rittenhouse Road Queen Creek, Arizona 85142
$25 includes lunch, parents $3 entry or $10 for entry and a ride wristband. Make sure to purchase tickets soon as they keep the event on the small side. The egg hunts are divided into age groups. Tickets include ride wristbands, cookie decorating, and Easter Bunny pictures. 

Easter Egg-Stavaganza and Buffet – April 1st 
10:00am-5:00p.m. Rawhide Western Town- 5700 W North Loop Rd., Chandler, AZ 85226
$23.95 for adults and $9.95 for kids aged 4-12 Easter egg hunt, and character meet and greets, cowboy attractions and rides.
