Stride Rite’s Fit-Topia at the Phoenix Zoo

Just in time for the season ahead, iconic kid’s shoe brand, Stride Rite, known for its baby bootie, embarked on a Fit-Topia tour across the U.S. this April/May and the next stop is…Phoenix! Kid’s Day at Phoenix Film Festival

The Phoenix Film Festival has announced the family friendly, Kids’ Day
to take place on Saturday, April 7 th from 9:00am to 2:00pm. Kids’ Day is presented by IFP/Phoenix and
Bookmans and is a great way for kids of all ages to come out and experience the festival. Guests can
select from a series of hands-on activity stations focusing on different aspects of film production and
geared to various age and ability levels. Stations are age-appropriate and run the full gamut of the
filmmaking process. And best yet, it’s FREE! Some of the fun activities include:
 Walk the red carpet and get a paparazzi photo taken courtesy of Bookman’s
 See the magic of getting transported to amazing places via a Green Screen
 Learn tips and tricks on filming with a smart phone
 Coloring reproductions of the Phoenix Film Festival poster

Sherlock Gnomes Storytime at Barnes & Noble, Desert Ridge Marketplace

Sherlock Gnomes is coming to town on Sunday, March 11 for a free family event at Desert Ridge Marketplace.

The event will be hosted and story will be read by Arizona Midday’s Destry Jetton. There will be a character photo opportunity with Sherlock from the new Paramount Pictures’ animated film, SHERLOCK GNOMES. The event will also feature a coloring station, light refreshments and giveaways. This is a free family event.
