Tired, Alone, Stressed, Hopeful… To Mothers Everywhere

0

We have all had the days … the days where you feel like you’re going to wake up and conquer the world, and, well, it just doesn’t go that way. AT ALL.  I had one of these days recently.  My husband worked all day, and my 15-month-old daughter spent the day throwing up antibiotics.

When I started the day with having vomit all over my dress, I immediately wanted to be upset, cry and bury myself back in bed while refusing to believe this was the reality of my day. But of course, I couldn’t. I had to accept it, take care of my baby and face the day.

Mothers EverywhereAs moms, our days don’t always turn out the way we think they’re going to when we put our feet on the floor in the (early!) morning.  So, I’m here to say

So, I’m here to say – I see you mamas.  I see you all.  And you’re doing an amazing job, even when you feel like you might not be!

For the mothers who have to get up and go to work every day, you’re amazing!

For the mothers who don’t get to see their children as much as they hope to, you’re loved.

For the mothers who just recently became a mom and are still trying to get the hang of it, you’re perfect.

For the moms who are beyond exhausted and struggling to feel something, you’re beautiful.

For the mothers who lost their babies in pregnancy and are still on the journey, you’re not forgotten.

For the mothers who are grieving, in pain and suffering, you are strong.

Mothers all over the world, you are the reason we are here today. You’re wonderful, and I’m sorry if today didn’t feel like your day. Thank you for being a mom! Thank you for being you!

To moms everywhere!
